outsourced desktops? .. when I worked at $BIGCORP it always amazed the
IT department that our desktops were oddly configured .. they thought
poledit.exe was a secret ;-)
every night they ran scripts over the network to delete 'non approved'
software .. such as netscape ... so we just burnt an image onto a cd and
ran a 'put it all back' script each morning
