Hmmm. Shurely shome mishtake? The whole idea of thw template
toolkit is that it separates application logic from presentation.
You write all of your scarey data gathering code in Perl script
and pass the gathered data to the template processor. Within
the template you do nothing more complex than if/then/else and
simple loops.
We're arguing amongst ourselves when we should be attacking the
common enemey: Text::Template :)
