The biggest problem was that it trampled all over my sendmail and apache
configurations.  I had compiled them myself and not installed them via
rpm.  So what.  It should have at least asked my permission before
fucking around with stuff in /etc which wasn't in its database.

All the rpms of the new rpm I could find were in the new rpm format.  Which
makes a lot of sense.  Oh yes.  I looked on rpmfind.net and rpm.org, both
of which you would expect to Do The Right Thing.
