My favourite agency is Next Generation Resources, but they specialise in
Sybase contractors in the City. I've always been happy with the way that
Elan worked and the people at Aerotek seem alright, but I've never worked
thru them so I don't know what their after-sales service is like :) Other's
on the list have contracted thru them and may have a better idea.

I tend to either use really big agencies (Elan, Harvey Nash, Spring.com) or
one-man bands (NGR, Futureability).

You[1] might be interested in a couple of pages that I threw together some
years ago. TYhe Sybase Contractor Resource Page at
<http://www.mag-sol.com/Sybase/> also has stuff that is relevant to
non-Sybase contractors and the Agency Rating System at
<http://www.ars.org.uk> allows contractors to rate agents (unfortunately it
also allows agents to rate themselves - I never bothered to implement the
security side of it).

hth,

Dave...

earlier this week.
