[Perl advocacy via Linux Format Poll]

I've never understood why magazines like Linux Format take this lazy route.
In their first few issues they had articles on writing CGI scripts which
came from the worst recesses of Matt Wright's imagination. I emailed them
many times to correct them, but I never even got a response.

Mind you, they _are_ getting better. They now have Charlie Stross on the
staff writing all their Perl articles. And Charlie's Perl is pretty sound.
