THERE'S SO MUCH FRICKIN' OVERHEAD JUST TO GET IT TO WORK. You have to compile and preverify and build the jar file and update the jad file with the jar size and keep a maifest and jad file and resource files and just to get hello world on screen there's 2 or 3 classes each implementing stuff and ... THIS IS NOT THE LANGUAGE OF THE FUTURE! This is a step back. Languages should be a tool. Not an obstacle. I shouldn't have to spend 30 minutes writing the equivalent of a Makefile but which has to use external scripts that have to be updated after each compile. Aargh. Jesus. /me sulks
