I'm not sure if it's been mentioned on here (though I think it has on UA), but there's also Vipul's Razor ( http://razor.sf.net ), a distributed spam-tagging system working with SHA-1 hashes of spam being submitted to servers that propagate the hashes. Doesn't work for spam that, say, includes your name or is at all dynamic, but most of mine isn't.
