Presumably SVG into an optimised Storable file would become, if optimised, SWF. Which is a doddle to parse.

Doubtful. The rendering of an SVG animation could be compiled to SWF, but otherwise the model is too different.


But then, you'd also be making a larger file (since SVG+gz is on average 30% smaller than SWF for the same view) with inferior capabilities. People still use SWF really?
