Dear group members hope you will be doing great in life.

I was wondering about the current situations in tribal area, few
questions come to my mind and i answer them according to my little
knowledge and perception. I would like to share my views with you.

Why are the tribal areas of Pakistan being victimized by bomb blasts?

Well one of the main reason is the proficient policy of Pervaiz
Musharaf, according to the Washington post Musharaf has signed an
agreement with the Bush administration that America can launch war on
terror whenever they want and wherever they want, so hats off to
General for selling his motherland. You might have heard in the recent
presidential campaign of US, it is said time and again that Bush
administration gave Musharaf $10.5Bn to fight against terrorism. I
believe they give him the money not to fight terrorism but to boost
terrorism in the country.

Now analyze it from US's prospective,

U.S. military officials have identified the Federally Administered
Tribal Areas of Pakistan, or FATA, as a refuge for Al Qaeda and a base
from which militants mount attacks on American troops in Afghanistan .
There are about 800 border-crossing points between Pakistan and
Afghanistan , according to U.S. defense officials. Most U.S. officials
blame the tribal regions for the growing number of attacks.

Now this is what they say but the reality is something else. After the
annihilation in Afghanistan and Iraq American stayed there as bloody
peace keepers but actually they are in Iraq only because of oil. In
Afghanistan the purpose of the Americans is to keep an eye over Iran ,
china and of course Pakistan .

Americans are planning to attack Pakistan just to shift the
responsibility burden after being completely failed in Afghanistan and
Iraq .

I don't deny the presence of foreign militants or terrorists in the
tribal belt of Pakistan but this is not the way to treat in our
territory. Negotiation is always the best solution..

Second question

Why no one bothers to think over it?

I would regretfully say that we (especially elite class) are morally
so weak. We will not realize of other's pain until we go through same
suffering. Moreover, i want to mention the economic situation of the
country. Imagine a person who is the sole caretaker of his/her family
and earning only 5000 - 6000 a month the only tension in his/her mind
will be how to feed my family. He/she won't bother what's going on

I strongly believe that my nation is the only one of its kind. We only
need a leader who could stretch us to limits.

My next two questions are inter related so I would like to answer them
together.

Why this democratic government is not taking action against US
operation in the territories of Pakistan ?

How would you differentiate between Musharraf Government
(Dictatorship) and A.A Zardari Government (democracy) while ground
realities are still intact?

Our so called prime minister first says we will protect our
sovereignty at any cost no matter who tries to challenge it. He
clearly mentions the word attack/war in his statements but, later on
he say our intention is not to invade US army. It clarifies his
confusion. Since last several decades our policies are controlled by
an invisible hand ( AMERICA ).

It really pisses me off when i see that the so called political
leaders are still fighting for power even in this crunch situation. As
far as A.A. Zardari concerned it’s a shame for us that a person like
him is the president of this country. Though there is a time now where
he can become a hero but he was scoundrel before and will remain
scoundrel. Think of a person who was in prison for corruption of
billions of rupees what would he do now when he is the most powerful
person right now.

I would like to end with the prayer that May Allah protect my country
as HE is doing since last 61 years, Ameen.

Regards,
Arslan.
