The port is very easy. I did it in a branch that I can not easily merge across. But there is light at the end of the tunnel. Without the search capability, I'm hosting lovd in heroku just fine.
I did notice that one other person (saturnflyer) is porting to heroku beside myself (kbrock). I am trying to get all my heroku changes back onto github and hope to post my progress soon.
