LPI Hosts Exam Labs at Ohio LinuxFest 2009 (Sacramento, CA, USA: August 27, 2009) - The Linux Professional Institute (LPI), the world's premier Linux certification organization (http://www.lpi.org), announced that they will offer LPIC-1 and LPIC-2 exams at the Ohio LinuxFest 2009 (Columbus, Ohio) on Sunday, September 27, 2009. This is the fourth year that LPI has been certification sponsor for Ohio LinuxFest and the event this year will be celebrating the 40th Anniversary of the Unix operating system.

Candidates should bring both their LPI ID and a government issued photo ID to the exam lab. To assist exam candidates in preparing for the exam OLFU will be offering a full day "LPI Level 1 ExamCram" with Stephen Pritchard on Friday September 25, 2009. Stephen is a long time volunteer with LPI and one of the original authors of the popular O'Reilly book "LPI in a Nutshell".
