Hi Timo,

This year, the plan is to update Linux Essentials first, then LPIC-2.

However, I should also point out that, if you already have an LPIC-2 certification, you can keep it active by joining as a member: https:// www.lpi.org/member/

If your cert has expired, you can still join and reactivate your certifications. You just have to submit some evidence (aka PDUs) that you are still using the skills and tools in the certs. Read the end of Section 2 of this page: https://www.lpi.org/member/program/

Got really curious about this, my lpic-2 expired just after covid-19, I'm planning retake and become a member by this year,

I work on debian as contributor every month, I was aware about keep it activate as member and evidence about constant involved on related tasks/roles,

but my guess it was about after expired I must retake first and then become a member, can you explain more about it?

Another question is If I become a member, can I get mail address (at) lpi.org, then my contribution on distribution supporting would be under lpi.org domain,

guess that would be really good for linux professional institute.

Kind regards,

Lucas Castro.

There's no need to retake all of the exams to get an LPIC-2 if you already have one.

Hope this helps.

Take care,

    Hi all,

    sorry for asking again.

But when is a new revision of LPIC-2 planned?

Does it make sense, to to an LPIC-2 in old revision?

    Thanks,
