I gently disagree if you are talking about the LPIC Level 1 Exam Cram 2, I'm
doing a comprehensive review of it before I start the update and find it
maps to over 85% of the current objectives, and I have independently
confirmed this with several of my trusted circle of trainers.  If you're
talking about the original Exam Cram series, those are older than the hills
and of course seriously out of date.

It's always going to be hard to keep physical dead-tree books updated to the
latest and greatest in an ever-changing market like certification, but even
so an 85% mapping for a 4 year-old book is not bad.
