To start, I would first say we would require it to be on a previous LPI
objective revision.  Not everything that is in a previous revision will
be so tagged though.  In this case, LILO makes a good example.

I think it solves the problem better, more refined, more defined.  The
same could be said used for future technologies/implementations as well,
but I won't go there.  That is more difficult to define.

While I agree it is outside the "3 sigma" realm, it is still used by a
couple of distributions as the default, and an alternative by several
others.

I was just trying to find a medium for a very select set of deprecated
technologies that were covered in previous LPI objectives.  If anything,
we don't even need to test them, but could merely touch on the fact that
they were in previous objectives and older training materials may still
cover them (and would be out-of-date).  Maybe they don't even go in the
objectives, but a "supplementary" could be produced.

Again, there are many considerations for this.  But I leave that
consideration to others.
