Oh, they exist! But consumers cannot buy them ... yet. I.e., they've been sampling the 1TB M.2 type M native NVMe booting PCIe 3.0 NAND cards since last year. But you're going to need at least an updated OEM install copy of Windows 8.1 to install on one, if not the Windows 10 Beta. Hence why they haven't been hitting consumer hands.
