Dear SPP member, Today, Hewlett-Packard is announcing the HP LaserJet Chai Software Developer Kit (SDK) that allows developers to create e-services for Web-enabled HP printers. To help developers create and test embedded Java applications, the HP LaserJet Chai SDK will include HP ChaiServer software, development tools, and documentation. It also includes an online developer guide and program examples, designed to aid both the novice and the professional java programmer. The HP LaserJet Chai SDK will be the first kit available through the 'Print and Image' community on HP's embedded software developer portal site, called 'devnet.' It is home to HP developer communities that are creating value-added applications for HP embedded technologies and a new generation of HP intelligent, connected devices.
