The problem is that the printer manufacturers do not release
their configuration information or MIBS or special entries
such as that needed to do 'factory level' configuration.
I have thrown in the towel on this. Instead, I suggest that
folks simply keep a CDROM with all of the software handy and
learn to suffer.
I have a LapTop with a pull-out hard drive just for this purpose.
