Don't use PJL to get the pagecount.  Use 
        pagecount=|check_printer_pagecount.pl
instead.  

I suspect the PJL implementation is looking for pagecounts in a slightly different 
location, causing the PJL stack to send out inaccurate pagecounts.  I ran into this 
problem here as well.

The pagecount offered by SNMP seems to be more punctual.  (I have no idea why.)
