I have thrown some HELPER status scripts together for my 6200DP.
They're not as elegant as John Perkins check_phaser_status scripts,
but they do the job for me. I gave up fighting with XML::Simple
because it kept silently dying when-ever it encountered syntax
errors in the .xml config file. Also, I had to deal with multiple
states (like energyStar) when syncing. I have left a copy of my
script(s) in the following along with my accounting script:

http://www.geog.ubc.ca/~kujala/lprng/phaser_sync.pl

I was being lazy and merely duplicated the code for sync and
waitend. I figure they should be doing the same thing, just
returning the appropriate codes for ifhp (3.5.10);

I have also left a copy of my SNMP MIBs for 5400 and 6200 which
I scooped from tektronix ftp site. I had to edit the 6200 MIBs
for basic syntax errors to get net-snmp-5.0.6 to recognize them.

Perhaps, if someone else wants to collaborate we could generalize
my scripts and make them a little more robust.
