Hello, Is there a way to stop LPRng sending the same datafile multiple times, once for each copy. I know this is necessary when printing to some JetDirect printer but for me it has some bad effects.
When I print to a XEROX DocuSP print controller system, the number of copies gets squared since both the spooler and the print controller multipy the job by the number of copies. Using lpd_bounce is one solution, but this can make datafiles very large. Further on DocuSP shows the number of copies which is of course only one if lpd_bounce created one large datafile containing all copies.
