Hi Peter,

We had some problems with gcov Patches from 2.6.19 onwards. We were able
to successfully apply on the 2.6.18 kernel, build and boot it. But with
gcov patches for kernel 2.6.19 and onwards, though the Patch was
successfully applied to and built, but we were not able to reboot that
Kernel. In all instances of 2.6.19-gcov, 2.6.20-gcov, till 2.6.24-gcov,
kernel panicked during booting. I am not sure exactly whether we need to
check/un-check certain parameters in the .config file before building
the kernel itself.
Rishi is the Author of PIDNAMESPACE, UTSNAMSPACE and SYSVIPCNAMESPACE
Testcases for LTP. Since these features are from kernel 2.6.19 onwards,
we are unable to find out the code coverage for kernel 2.6.19 and above.
Can you please look in to this issue ?
