I use it to verify that our kernels with local changes are sane. It's already well repaid the effort we've put into using LTP, by catching a kernel misconfiguration. A teammate accidentally added an extra digit into a hard-coded limit. Instead of it getting out into the wild to cause subtle havoc, one of the LTP tests misbehaved badly and let us catch the typo. We suffered two man-days of head-scratching, but prevented months of talking, debugging, and patching across our customer base. I'll always take that trade gladly and gratefully. Thanks!
