LTP is regularly used by the Xenomai project to verify that the Linux kernel patched with Xenomai still works as without the patch (that LTP results are identical). It allowed to fix the nasty bug fixed by this commit: http://git.xenomai.org/ipipe-gch.git/commit/?h=for-core-3.4&id=b66991aeb55643f0667dfa470d29bbbb739fc9fe I also use it to check that the FCSE patch (an ARM specific patch also used by Xenomai) does not change LTP results.
