Hi

I am trying to set up a few Compaq PII400 desktops to act as X-Terminals
to a Suse 7.3 server with version 2.08 of LTSP (using 2.2 kernel images)

I have got one machine going ok using a floppy booted 3Com soho NIC.

The second machine though has a 3com 3c905c-TX-M fitted and is using the
Managed PC Boot Agent on the card configured for TCP/IP (DHCP) boot. The
machine boots, finds the DHCP server running on the 7.3 server then
gives TFTP............ and thats all. This is the transcript from syslog
running on the server:

(The server is gemini 192.168.0.4 and the x:x:x:x:x corresponds to the
correct MAC address of the 3c905c in the Compaq deleted for posting reasons)

Oct 30 12:24:30 gemini dhcpd: DHCPDISCOVER from x:x:x:x:x via eth0
Oct 30 12:24:30 gemini dhcpd: DHCPOFFER on 192.168.0.202 to x:x:x:x:x
via eth0
Oct 30 12:24:31 gemini dhcpd: DHCPREQUEST for 192.168.0.202
(192.168.0.4) from x:x:x:x via eth0
Oct 30 12:24:31 gemini dhcpd: DHCPACK on 192.168.0.202 to x:x:x:x:x via eth0
Oct 30 12:24:32 gemini in.tftpd[8944]: connect from 192.168.0.202
(192.168.0.202)
Oct 30 12:24:32 gemini in.tftpd[8945]: RRQ from 192.168.0.202 filename
lts/vmlinuz.3c905

I have tried changing the downloading kernel to vmlinuz.all but that
crashed out during the TFTP.... with a message File Transfer Error:
Image file too large for memory.

Any advice would be gratefully received.

Thanks

Neil Miller
