Hi,
both dhcpd version , two stable and three rc , are included in SuSE 7.3. You just have to change the DAEMON_BIN variable in /etc/rc.d/dhcpd into DAEMON_BIN=/usr/sbin/dhcpd-2. That's the way i did after different trouble with dhcpd 3.0. good luck, bastian Randall Craig wrote: >Try putting this line in your dhcpd.conf file: > > >ddns-update-style ad-hoc; > > >if that doesn't work try __ > >ddns-update-style none; > > >remember to look at /var/log/messages for errors > >good luck > >Randall > >* Matthias Tinnemeier ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) [011111 13:18]: > >>Hi there! >> >>Is there any possibility to run LTSP 2.09pre4 on SuSE 7.3 professional?? >> >>I've tried it by adding a ln -s suse.sh suse-7.3.sh > There was no error >>till i tried to start the dhcp-server with the new configuration. >> >>FAILURE: >>This new DHCP-Version (V 3.0rc12) doesn't know the terms "option option-128 >>..." and "option option-129 ..." >> >>What can i do? >> >>Matthias Tinnemeier >> >> >> >>_____________________________________________________________________ >>Ltsp-discuss mailing list.
