Is anyone using Win4Lin (http://www.netraverse.com/products/win4lin30)
with LTSP?
Running Windows inside a window on the desktop - win & - works
brilliantly, and is perfect for people migrating users from Winxx to
Linux.
However, I've not managed to find a way to run it in full screen mode -
fwin - which requires a dedicated console screen. The error message is:
XFree86 3.3.x
X running on 0.
Trying display 1.
xinit /bin/sh /opt/win4lin/fullx/fwin_start.sh -- :1
Authentication failed - cannot start X server.
Perhaps you do not have console ownership?giving up.
xinit: No such file or directory (errno 2): unable to connect to X
server.
xinit: No such process (errno 3): Server error.
Should it be possible for a server based process like Win4Lin to start
up a session on my remote LTSP client?
