[Ltsp-discuss] Compiling a Vanilla Kernel

Hi   I am attempting to compile a kernel direct from kernel.org.  I have followed the directions on the site, but when I attempt to boot the workstation, I get an error that it is unable to locate "nfs" and that I need to append the location of root to root=   Any ideas?   Tim
