Thanks Jim for the Netscape Mozilla recommendations. I tried using the agent from netscape but i cant resume my downloads whenever my connection drops :-( sorry i forgot to mention my download agent. i'm forced to using download accelerator (build 4.0.0.2 for windows) because of its resume feature. Internet connection down my end is very slow, unreliable and gets cut-off from time to time. To be efficient with bandwidth (and to get the most 'juice' out of my slow connection), DA somehow establishes 4 simultaneous connections to download large files. Is this allowable down at Sourceforge? I hope i'm not doing something stupid and 'illegal' here. i'll try other agents so i have a basis of comparison. The resume feature is really very important to me. I hope the files there were not clobbered somehow because i was able to get some of them completely using the same setup. regards, Jim McQuillan <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> quoted last 12/16/01 12:59:43 AM as follows: > >Phil, > >What client are you using to download with ? > >I've used Mozilla and Netscape on Linux many times, and >it works great. > >Jim McQuillan >[EMAIL PROTECTED] > > >On Sat, 15 Dec 2001, Philip A.
