Yep. No problems at all with the standard kernel(s).

I used the initrd kit (ltsp_initrd_kit-3.0.1-i386.tgz) to do the hard work for me.

Yeah, a clean 2.4.17 kernel from www.kernel.org.

Yeah, i tried to duplicate the config file and make a few changes to adapt to my 
system.
