Why  u  dont use  tcpdump for  something like that  ? 
Ust  simple  

Tcpdump and  enter 
(  if there is  two  interfaces  use   tcpdump i -eth0 )
To  exclude  some  uneccecery things  use  tcpdump and not port 22 or
something  else

TFTP uses port 69.  So, to test it, do this:

   netstat -an | grep ":69 "

Also, take a look at the troubleshooting section of
the ltsp-3.0 docs.
