Solved the problem of getting a list of hosts up (chooser instead on a
display manger). Created a new lts.conf variable XDMCP_INDIRECT (Y/N)
which rc.config uses to create the X startup script in /tmp. The X
server is now called with either -query if set to N or -indirect if set
to Y.
On booting a ltsp workstation I now get a gdm chooser window with a list
of hosts to connect to complete with little (selectable) icons.
