[snip] Seriously guys, the world is full of Linux distros that have started off full of good ideas and have fallen flat on their horses. Why? not enough people are interested / trust you to be around / worry that they won't be able to use other apps because you haven't supplied all the necessary libraries, etc. Why not get on the back of one good distro - say Red Hat - and then create a post-install CD that adds in your bells and whistles, sets your default desktop, etc. etc. That way you save a lot of work that's already been done, and you overcome the fear factor that'll stop people entrusting their systems to some flaky distro provider (you) who might vanish tomorrow. Here's a wheel - no point re-inventing it - use it to make a bike instead. John _______________________________________________________________ Have big pipes?
