|Spot on Hans, I have been experimenting with local apps over the last
|few days and am concerned with various issues regarding configuration,
|security and hardware requirements. I have decided to stay away from
|local apps.

|Keep it simple is the way to go, let's hope we have a solution to the

  Local applications are a very good idea if you want sound from your local
workstation.  A silent client equipped with sound hardware is just so sad!
