I'm working on a project to convert my work from MS Windows based
workstations over to LTSP terminals -- about 50 stations.

I desperately need a great CAD program to compete with the AutoCAD LT
some of my users need for their job.

I've searched High and Low and found very little. Cycas, VariCad, QCad,
and others just don't have what it takes to do 2D drawings like AutoCAD.

I especially need elliptical trim and extend functions.

Here are some proposed solutions:

1. Run VNC on one or two Windows machines and let them VNC to these
stations for AutoCAD. This seems to be cheapest.

2. Try to force Wine to run AutoCAD (Uber Scary!)

3. Pray that someone introduces a proper Linux architectural CAD
program.

I'd rather move entirely away from Windows.

Is it possible to export a terminal session from Mac OS X? Could I
therefore run a Mac CAD program on terminals?

Anyone try tackling this problem before?
