Maybe I should put a sign on 5.1 CVS saying stay out if you not a
developer?

Explanation: 5.1.x is not guaranteed to be at least as good as 5.0.x. It
may not even exist. In Etherboot the odd minor numbers are used whenever
there are some high-impact changes to test. At other times it's dormant
and may even be out of sync.  It's not the same convention as the Linux
kernel. I just updated it to the same level at 5.0.6 last week because
of some proposed features that Eric Biederman may put in.
