I have never had any problems with this chipset In Australia I have purchased a number of Belkin 10/100 cards which use the rtl8139 chipset. They even have a socket for a boot rom which I use. In my network the CPU is the bottleneck not the network cards (AMD K6-450) I am replacing the mainboard in my server next week with a Supermicro Dual Pentium III board fitted with two Intel Pentium III one Gig CPU's I will report back soon with the results ------------------------------------------------------- This sf.net email is sponsored by: Jabber Inc.
