Hi,

The Danish Minister of Education are
starting to talk about giving computers
to all the pupils at 3. and 4. grades
in the country.

I can already see this end in a virus-,
reinstall- and piracy-disaster if the
pupils are going to administer their
Windows machine themselves.

Of cause we can all agree that they
should use LTSP :-)

I'm going to do everything I can to try
to convince the minister that LTSP is the
way to go instead of using MS machines.
Unfortunately everybody here in Denmark
are very MS oriented, except a few Linux
geeks, so its not going to be easy.

But I need all the info I can get:

Who is using LTSP? (Especially schools)

Has anybody made some economical com-
parison between the two?

Has anybody compares with a Citrix
platform?

Does a product exist that enables a
teacher to see what's going on on a
pupils screen?

Does a product exist that enables a
teacher to broadcast his screen to
all the pupils?

Steen Jansdal
