How can I install LTSP-3.05 on a server with Conectiva Linux 7.0/8.0 ? I tried the RPM that normaly works (it's a distribution similar to RedHat) but I got the folloing message on the RPM command: [root@server ltsp]# rpm -Uhv ltsp_core-3.0.5-0.i386.rpm Preparing... ########################################### [100%] 1:ltsp_core ########################################### [100%] Sorry, but Conectiva version 7.0 not supported :-(
All of the ltsp_core components seams to be installed at /opt/ltsp. Why is it in any forme dependent on the servers distribution ? Is it possible to install the .tgz package and make some ajustements for my distribution ? (witch/where) ?
