Mike, It's probably not a PXE problem. PXE takes care of getting the kernel into memory. after that, it is done.
You clearly have a kernel in memory. So, it is more likely a problem with the configuration on the server. Is the IP address of the server 192.168.16.130 ? is NFS running on that server ? Is the workstation listed in the /etc/hosts file on that server ? Is /etc/hosts.allow setup to allow connections from the workstation ? Do you have ipchains or iptables running to block access ? Is your /etc/exports file setup correctly ? Have you looked at the troubleshooting section of the LTSP-3.0 documentation ? Hope that helps, Jim McQuillan [EMAIL PROTECTED] On Tue, 30 Jul 2002, Mike Arends wrote: > Hi there, > > I'm failing to mount an NFS filesystem during PXE boot proces: > > > > > Running dhclient > Mounting root filesystem: /opt/ltsp/i386 from 192.168.16.130 > (null)mount: nfsmount failed.
