I would like to know why does ltsp use a small linux installation in
/opt/ltsp/i386 ?
Wouldn't it be simpler for local aplications if I do a full installation in a
spare partition that I can start on the server to update or do simple aplication
installation (using utilitys like apt-get, rpm ...) and than restart the server
in normal operation where this partion is mounted in /opt/ltsp/i386 ?
The reason for the small installation isn't probably for the aditional 1G disk
space used on the server, so what am I missing ?
I would like to have a simple way to use several aplication at the workstation,
starting with Mozilla.

Thanks,

Alex
