Hi Evgeny,

Thanks for your advice.

dhcpd can be started but the diskless workstation still could not connect
to LTSP server. My test result is as follows:

Edit /etc/dhcpd.conf

--- snip----
option subnet-mask            255.255.255.0;
option broadcast-address      192.168.0.255;
option routers                192.168.0.254;
option domain-name-servers    192.168.0.254;
option domain-name            "ltsp";
option root-path              "192.168.0.254:/opt/ltsp/i386";

shared-network WORKSTATIONS {
     subnet 218.188.78.0 netmask 255.255.255.0 {
     }
}
---- snip -----

# service dhcpd restart
Shutting down dhcpd:                                       [FAILED]
Starting dhcpd:                                            [  OK  ]

Aug 22 19:37:14 localhost dhcpd: dhcpd startup succeeded

But eth1 is not correct. It should be eth0 (I changed the crossover cable
trying both eth0 and eth1 without result)

The diskless workstation works well on K12osn project. It has 2 ethernet
cards, one with a boot ROM and another w/o boot ROM. I tried both with the
assistance of a booting floppy (also from k12osn project).

I also checked the ethernet cards of the LTSP server and found both activated.

Kindly advise which mistake I have committed.

Thanks in advance

Stephen
