I had tried the your recomended entry many times.
This is the same as the commented out dhcpd.conf
entry that came in the example that came with LTSP
v3.0. I cet this error message when I try to start dhcpd:
/etc/dhcpd.conf line 39: unknown
                                              option dhcp.option-128
  option option-128   e4:

I get the same for option-129.

 I have seen these entries in other .conf files
which makes me suspect the version of ISCs DHCP
is at fault. I'm running dhcp-3.0pl2 which is their
dhcp-latest. What version are you running and who
supplied it? I ready to try another, known working,
DHCPD.
