Well, thanks a lot for all the help. I finally got the Rawrite program to work to make a bootable floppy. However, now the terminal boots from the NIC and appears that DHCP is working, because it gives an IP address, but then it loads a series of dots as if it is connecting and reboots again immediately. This continues over and over until I manually shut down the terminal. Any ideas? I'm certainly out of them. Thanks.

I just set up LTSP 3.0 and am now ready to start adding terminals. I'm struggling to use RAWRITE to write the downloaded image to a floppy, so that I can boot the PC from it. Every time I use RAWRITE it tells me that "no such file or directory exists" after I type in the source file name. I've done everything that the Rom-o-Matic site says to do, but still no luck. Does anyone have a suggestion to deal with this problem? I'm really a newbie with Linux, so all of this is a big learning curve. Thanks ----------------------------- Dylan, when I remember correctly, rawrite is a DOS-program. To get it work under DOS, create a directory with a short path e. g. C:\temp. Rename the image to a short name, e. g. dlink.img. Copy both rawrite and the image to this directory. When executing rawrite you are asked for the source file name, and then you type the complete path, e.g. C:\temp\dlink.img. This should work. Thereis also a user interfase for windows, rawwritewin or so. This is more userfriendly.
