I think you won't get it to run with <4MB RAM. The harddisk would not
be necessary, but 3.6M is just not sufficient.
You could have a look at vnc - there is a client for DOS out somewhere
which could live with 3.6M, a DOS TCP stack.... I got that working
on an old box long before - if you are interested, feel free to
