How do I restart the NFS system so that it takes accounts of changes in
/etc/export

My LTSP client is booting as far as
------------------------
running dhclient
mounting root filesystem: /opt/ltsp/i386 from 192.168.100.111
mount 192.168.100.111:/opt/ltsp/i386 failed, reason given by sever
:permission denied
mount: nfsmount failed : bad file number
nfsmount program didn't pass remote address
------------------------

It then proceeds to a kernel panic and stops

I've checked that /opt/ltsp/i386 exists and it does
Where should I check for permissions
How can I invoke any changes without restarting the server (I'm downloading
the cd images for k12ltsp and have't found an option to restart the download
(hints also appreciated).

Thanks

ChrisJ
