Since you are in control of 'autonam' you decide which do and which dont eg ws001 ws002 and ws009 auto login ws003 .. ws008 dont you chose to not touch autonam, but have users ws001 ws002 ws009 johndoe and george It's done! eg you call ws001,2 and 9 autows002 etc now you have users autows001 etc etc eg You fiddle with 'autonam' it returns ws001,2,9 and 'none'. ws001 2 & 9 auto-login, the rest as 'none' do not. GDM has some funnies, but IMHO it's much nicer than kdm. Try to run 3 sessions on the server with kdm!!!
