Hi,
I've installed LTSP 4.0 on a server running mandrake
9.1, and after a bit of tweaking I've gotten to the
point where the client downloads the kernel and begins
to start the x server, but fails. Here is the output:
Scanning for video card
Building the /tmp/XF86Config-4 file
Fatal server error:
Cannot move old log file ("/var/log/XFree86.0.log" to
"/var/log/XFree86.0.log.old"
I've googled around to find an answer, and the only
suggestions I've found have to do with the file and
directory permissions, but nothing I've tried seems to
make any difference.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
