Hi friends, we are just in the process of installing LTS for a school in Kinshasa/Congo. We have the server running and configured using LTSP 4 on RedHat 9. The client boots from a floppy, and starts up fine.
Finally we see a loginprompt, which is diffrent from the one in the LTSP-Doks (LTSP not mentioned; just plain gery with a blue logo of XFree86) Loging in with a valid name, throughs me back to that prompt. Loging in with a wrong name, gives a message from the system. So the auth works. Any ideas? Thanks in advance, Ingo. PS: May be I should mention, that we use neither KDE nor Gnome but iceWM and xdm. -- Ingo Lantschner Tel Vienna +43-1-5955766 Mobil Austria +43-664-1438418 Tel Kinshasa +243-810-332141 ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: IBM Linux Tutorials Free Linux tutorial presented by Daniel Robbins, President and CEO of GenToo technologies.
