Hi everyone,
with the help of some of you i finally figured out, that the most painless way of having firefox run on my clients, is either having my system compiled with the same version of gcc as the ltsp-4.1 is compiled - which is quite unlike, i have to admit - or getting the ltsp environment compiled with the same gcc as my system is, and then i can use the same binary of firefox on the clients, which currently runs on the server. this is why ltsp lbe was designed, i guess.
anyway, after i recompiled my ltsp, do i have to compile a new firefox as well using lbe, or i should just use the same binary, that i'm using on the server, and copy it with the related libaries and files into the thin clients' evironment?
i looked through the mailing list's history, and looked up google as as well, but could not find any solution on howto use lbe to compile external applications from source.
could anyone instruct me on that. it would be appriciated.
