Rolf, About 2 weeks ago I posted a message saying that i've got a bunch of updates that need to be tested.
I was getting some errors on one of my servers, but so far, nobody has seen the same problem. The problem was firefox being very unstable. But, I installed the latest on several other machines here, and it works fine on them. I also got several reports back from other people saying that it was working fine for them too. So, if you'd like to give it a try, configure your ltspadmin to pull packages from: http://ltsp.mirrors.tds.net/pub/ltsp/ltsp-4.1-unstable I'm probably going to move those packages into ltsp-4.1 and call it a stable release. The one machine that I was having problems on croaked on Sunday, so it is quite likely that the problems I saw had nothing to do with the ltsp updates.
